Margie Stokley: Regionally: McCarter Theater, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Theater Under the Stars, Maine State Music Theatre. Off- Broadway: Super Powers (adobe theater company); Creature of the Deep (HERE); After Loyal (New Georges); Bloodwhite (JSTA); Dread Awakening (Primary Stages). As a founding member of Andhow! Theater Company she has performed in their productions of Little Suckers, Curvature, Non-D, Boo, This Property is Condemned, Talk to Me Like the Rain, and Paschal Full Moon. Film: Helicopter (dir. Ari Gold, Winner Academy Award for student shorts- Gold Medal, 2001 Sundance Film Festival) As a playwright, in May of 2003 Andhow! produced her one-woman show Boo and in August of 2004 her full-length play Elephant was presented at the Ontological. Elephant has been published by New York Theatre Experience in their Plays and Playwrights 2005. Excerpts from Elephant also appear in Smith and Krauss’s Best of Men’s Stage Monologues 2005 and Best of Women’s Stage Monologues 2005, and in Applause Book’s Best Women’s Monologues for the Millennium.
